Weld on frame plate for hardtails is constructed of steel. Use for proper alignment during welding and adds extra reinforcement after installation. The adjuster blocks are on the outside of the rear axle plate and are threaded to accept the axle adjuster kit. DIY hardtailing is easy to install as the alignment is accomplished in the mount design provided. Custom application on 1973-1981 models. Use on 1973-1981 XL when installing a weld on hardtail. Welding should be performed by a skilled welding technician.
